Course Description
The Honors Biology Course is a 30-week online program designed for middle and high school students delving into essential themes of biology. In this course, instructors guide students on a journey to uncover the mysteries of life, exploring captivating areas such as cell structure, genetics, and ecosystems.
This course is accredited with the California A-G course approval, aligning with the curriculum standards of the University of California system, and is widely recognized by the majority of American universities.

About the Instructor
Dr. James Lin graduated from Wisconsin Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He earned his Master's degree in Human Psychology and Animal Behavior Evolution from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley).
Since 2012, Dr. Lin has been teaching honors, AP, and advanced biology courses to high school and middle school students. He possesses a wealth of subiect knowledge andthe ability to convey to his students. Over the past 20 years, he has taught over 1000 students, many of whom have excelled in AP Biology exams and biology competitions. Thanks to his quidance and teaching, many students have been admitted to prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Stantord University, Yale University, Princeton University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dr. Lin excels in sparking students' interest in biology, quiding them in their pursuit of academic excellence. He values the individual development of each student, encouraging personalized learning and support them to leverage their strengths and providing guidance
